Don Keating's guest this Wednesday will be Cryptozoologist Ken Gerhard. Ken Gerhard was born during a full moon on Friday, October 13th, 1967, exactly one week before the Patterson Bigfoot footage was filmed in California. Growing up as the son of Canadian immigrants in Minnesota and Texas, Ken developed a love of animals and the outdoors. As a boy, his family traveled to many exotic places around the world, such as the Amazon jungle, Thailand, Australia and Tunisia. Ken always wanted to learn about the legendary animals or ‘monsters’ wherever he went. In 1982 at age fifteen, he attempted his first field research at Loch Ness in Scotland, armed with a super-8 movie camera. In all, Ken has traveled to twenty-six countries on six of the continents and has visited 44 of the states.
In 1998, Gerhard actively began to investigate North American monsters including the Beast of Bray Road, Igopogo, the Loveland Frog and giant turtles in Indiana. In September of 2002, he discovered a possible Bigfoot shelter in the Big Thicket of east Texas. On subsequent expeditions, Ken believes he has heard Bigfoot on three different occasions and has recorded vocalizations. He has also found tracks and other evidence while searching for Bigfoot in seven different states, and has worked with many of the top researchers in the field.
In December of 2004, Ken traveled to the jungles of Belize in order to investigate two unknown hominids known as the Sisemite and Dwende. He discovered and cast some unidentified primate tracks in the remote Maya Mountains. In January of 2006, Gerhard returned to Belize in order to conduct another expedition. During July of 2005, Ken along with paranormal author Nick Redfern found new evidence of Texas’ famous Lake Worth Monster. In November of 2005, Ken helped to lead a state supported study, which focused on Florida’s mysterious Skunk Ape. In 2007, Ken’s book Big Bird! Modern Sightings of Flying Monsters was published. It was immediately recognized as being an important contribution to the study of Thunderbirds, which have been reported throughout Texas and North America. During 2008, he investigated the Texas Chupacabras for the History Channel series Monster Quest.
Ken Gerhard is a field investigator for The Centre for Fortean Zoology, as well as the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization. In addition to two episodes of Monster Quest, he appears on the television series Legend Hunters, as well as numerous radio and Internet programs. His credits include being a guest on Ireland’s Newstalk Radio, as well as being featured in articles by the Tampa Tribune, Amarillo Edge and Brownsville Herald. Ken’s written a self-published book titled Monsters are Real! as well as penning articles for Animals and Men, The Journal of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club and Bigfoot Times. Ken has lectured at the Southern Crypto Conference and GhostTech Con and has exhibited at conferences in Texas, Washington State and Massachusetts.

Don Keating's guest this Thursday will be Pennsylvania Paranormal Investigator Rick Fisher. Rick Fisher has had an interest in the paranormal since an early age when he saw what he believes to have been a ghost. Since then Rick has spent much of his life in search of answers into the unknown. Rick’s journey has taken him to interesting places and has given him the opportunity to meet interesting people. In1997 he founded the Pennsylvania Ghost Hunters Society which is now the Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania and investigates reported hauntings, strange creatures, UFO’s, mysterious places, and unexplained phenomena.
Thursday on the Sasquatch Triangle show the guest will be Green Castle, Indiana resident Larry Battson. Battson is a wildlife educator and Bigfoot investigator. He has been involved with the Bigfoot phenomenon since at least 1989 when he met Mr. John Green of Canada at the Outdoors show in Cleveland, Ohio.
